Shadow…
You think the shadow is the substance:
so to you the substance has become a cheap toy.
Wait until the day when that substance
freely unfolds its wings.
Then you will see the mountains become as soft as wool,
and this earth of heat and ice b
become as nothing;
you will see neither the sky nor the stars,
you will see neither the sky nor the stars,
nor any existence but God – the One, the Living, the Loving.
~~Rumi
Your incredible images always send my spirit soaring, and today’s choice of poem – as always – compliments your photography perfectly. Thank you so much for this amazing post. With gratitude, Gina

Beautiful – and to me, who has only known relatively flat landscapes, this is almost otherworldly. Rumi’s wise words are an ideal complement, aren’t they?

Breathtaking …. ‘Shadows’ .. All things vibrate within this world, and even mountains are not solid.. Loved that Quote you chose to accompany your photo, and so happy I dropped by again today,
One day we will be as but shadows yet again, lets hope we take our memories and weave them into form, and re-create a world as nature intended it to be, until Mankind came along spoil much of its light…
I hope that we can all dissolve within the living and loving… and become as ONE once again………
Many thanks for Sharing, sriramjanak 🙂
